Bloggers trip to Amagugu

Bulawayo Bloggers started on twitter as an initiative that spreads information and tweets links of articles from various bloggers in the community. It has gone further to holding events where local bloggers meet up and network with the aim of growing each other as like-minded individuals. Creative meetups are popular in other countries and Zimbabwe is catching up to these trends especially with the easy access of internet now afforded to the majority of people. Like any talent, blogging can become a worthy endeavour to those that have the touch. Those with significant traffic on their sites are even being approached by different organisations to display their products and pay for it. Some even make a living from it, the scale goes very high.

The Bulawayo Bloggers movement is organising a trip to Amagugu International Heritage Centre for bloggers and creatives to mix, share ideas and network. New bloggers, seasonal bloggers and experienced bloggers will enjoy the activities Amagugu has to offer which range from traditional foods, nature walks, the famous braai on the rocks, exhibitions and many more.

Let me give you one good reason to be at this event .....Valz is part of the organizing team and his initiatives always rocket beyond presumed success

@ByoBlogger will continuously working to find sponsors for bloggers. It's a win-win situation for both parties - sponsors get exposure and feedback about their products and services, and bloggers get to try out new products and services. This also gives a chance for our newer bloggers to learn how to review products the right way (yes, there is a right and wrong way to write spectacular product reviews that will keep your sponsors coming back and your readers clamoring for more..).

Not long ago, I started seeing the word “mastermind” come up frequently when reading my favorite authors and topics, and I was delighted to learn its meaning. In his book, “Think and Grow Rich,” Napoleon Hill describes a mastermind group as, “A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose. Then, in his book “Master Key to Riches” he says, “Every mind needs friendly contact with other minds, for food of expansion and growth.” According to Hill, mastermind groups are established to help create an environment that nurtures and supports growth. How beautiful is that?

This is a very beautiful concept. We are usually part of informal mastermind groups. As  bloggers though, these concept did not exist locally and it is exactly what was missing. @ByoBlogger is a supportive and inclusive community of bloggers, united for the common goal of growing and thriving together — all while building lasting friendships with like-minded creative entrepreneurs.

Interested partners are TvYangu, ByoBloggers, CurateByo, Culxure Mag, Hunnar Agency and Amagugu Heritage. Let us support the movement as creative minds and build each other.
