King Ed had been off the radar since the release of Typical Kings a joint mixtape that he made with Typical back in August 2016. eOn the new track Ed talks about the rise of mumble rappers who have led to the extinction of  "real" rap.He indicates weaknesses that have led to the decline of rap culture. Ed goes on to comment on the christian rap community and briefly goes political. The track takes a sudden turnaround and the prophet of doom starts narrating about the demons he has been wrestling for the previous months and his contempt for being unappreciated in an industry where he has tried to fit in since the beginning of his career.

There's a man holding a hammer on the artwork and that simply represents a demolition man he has to destroy an old building so he can make something new that's me on this track. Pending Doom was recorded, mixed and mastered at So Nice Records by Dokta Gluko who is very prominent in the Zim Dancehall industry, he has worked with Souljah Luv. The instrumental was taken from 9th Wonder's beat tape titled Zion which is available for purchase on the itunes music store. Ed Art designed the artwork for Pending Doom.

"They say gospel rappers haven't been making sense ever since they tasted the fruit,
I'm that one preacher that uses the pen as a bible
just to tell you about sorrows of the heart
I'm a motherfucking riffle shot a thousand niggas on site with only one word"
